‣ The students developing countries (particularly for NORD Countries ) and

University of Oslo, the International Summer School (ISS) has a wide variety of full and partial scholarships, but the competition for scholarships is tough.

Eligibility

Who can apply for scholarships to Bachelor’s courses?


Applicants who study Scandinavian Studies at their home university


Applicants from the Caucasus or the Balkans

Applicants from the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe


Applicants from the USA or Canada (mostly partial scholarships)

Applicants who can demonstrate a specific need to study in Norway
Who can apply for scholarships to Master’s courses?

Applicants from developing countries (particularly for NORAD countries)


Applicants from the Caucasus or the Balkans


Applicants from the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe


Applicants from the USA or Canada (mostly partial scholarships)

Applicants who can demonstrate a specific need to study in Norway.

Note To be a successful ISS scholarship recipient, you must demonstrate:

that your academic background is related to the course you apply for


that your professional background or goals are related to the course apply for


your financial need


your personal qualities that make you a good representative of your country.
