Ministry of Foreign Affairs BSU Master Scholarship Programme in Denmark , and applications are submitted till 1st March and 15th March 2015. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark is offering master scholarship programme for talented students from South partner universities. This programme is the supplement to the existing fellowship programme. The Programme offers 38 two-year full-time scholarships available for commencement in September 2015. Applicants must be bachelor graduate from one of the following universities in order to apply: University of Ghana (Ghana), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), Sokoine University of Agriculture (Tanzania), Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College (Tanzania), State University of Zanzibar (Tanzania), Gulu University (Uganda) or Kathmandu University (Nepal). Benefits(Value/ Inclusions):

Award No: Up to 38 scholarships are available for commencement in September 2015.

Scholarship Duration: Scholarships are awarded for two years.

Scholarship covers: The successful applicants will be offered a scholarship which will cover tuition fee, travel costs, field work cost in home country, accommodation and allowances during the study period. DFC will cover the expenses in connection with language test and application fee, if the applicant is awarded a scholarship. DFC will be responsible for the residence permit application process, travel arrangements, and accommodation while in Denmark.

Description

‣ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated a Master scholarship programme, as a supplement to the existing fellowship programme.

‣ The aim of Ministry of Foreign Affairs BSU Master Scholarship is to provide talented students from South partner universities with the opportunity to obtain a master’s degree from a Danish university in order to contribute to the development of their countries.

‣ The  scholarship programme is part of the ‘Building Stronger Universities’ (BSU) initiative supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

The administrative aspects of the scholarship are taken care of by DFC. “Building Stronger Universities in Developing Countries” is a partnership between research and higher education institutions in developing countries and Danish universities.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following requirements to apply for Ministry of Foreign Affairs BSU Master Scholarship

‣ Applicants must be bachelor graduate from one of the following universities in order to apply: University of Ghana (Ghana), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), Sokoine University of Agriculture (Tanzania), Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College (Tanzania), State University of Zanzibar (Tanzania), Gulu University (Uganda) or Kathmandu University (Nepal).

Selection Criteria:

‣ The scholarships will be awarded on a strictly competitive basis with focus on grades and level of English.
